Welcome to the Moose Lodge – a cosy spot in the Swedish Countryside

The Moose lodge is a spacious and comfortable holiday home, surrounded by nature, in the Swedish area of Jämtland. Located in the small village of Öratjärndalen, where you can truly unwind and enjoy the peace and open space. Just 400 meters away, you’ll find a small lake, perfect for a morning walk or a refreshing swim.

Space and Coziness

The lodge has the warm, authentic feel of a Scandinavian home. The spacious living area has large windows that provide plenty of natural light and beautiful views of the surrounding nature. In the sitting area, you can relax on the comfortable sofas by the wood-burning stove, while the large dining table invites you to enjoy long, cosy dinners. The open kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, to prepare a delicious meal.

Comfort for everybody

With eight full-size beds, the Moose Lodge is ideal for families or groups of friends. There are four bedrooms, one on the ground floor and three upstairs. All rooms have two single beds (90x200 cm), which can be made up as double bed if desired. The beds are freshly made up on arrival, so you can relax straight away.

The lodge has two spacious bathrooms, both with double sinks, a shower and a hairdryer. The bathroom on the ground floor has direct access to the terrace. There are also two separate toilets and a spacious entrance hall.

Enjoy life outdoor

Outside, there is plenty of space to adore nature. The lodge has a large terrace with outdoor furniture, a fire pit to grill and, for those who want to relax even more, a sauna and hot tub (on request). Wi-Fi is available, but the surroundings invite you to put your screen away for a while and enjoy the peace and quiet.

A true paradise for children

Children can fully enjoy the freedom of the outdoors around the lodge. With forests to explore, open space to run, and nature all around, it's the perfect place for adventure, imagination, and discovery, far away from screens and traffic. Here, nature becomes the best playground!
